Commissions and Public Art
'In Perfect Balance' was a commission piece started in June 2008 and was completed and installed July 2009. The steel and copper sculpture was a collaboration between the client and me over the years project. The alcove was 10' wide and 16' tall. The work set in a small pond so the cascade effects worked perfectly. Electricity ran to a set of LEDs mounted behind a bright red, glowing eyeball. After 5 years of weathering, the patina has only gotten better.
